Grapes: Grown in Olathe at Cottonwood Cellars and harvested in mid-October. The grapes were crushed, destemmed, and cold-soaked for 6 days, then fermented for 14 days. They were then pressed and transferred to French oak barrels.

Aging: 29 months in French oak barrels—33% new and 67% neutral.

Tasting Notes: This Austrian varietal has rose and dark fruit aromas with ripe blackberry and peppery spice flavors.

ABV: 13.0%

Pairs with: Thanksgiving dinner, chicken dishes, and vegetables.
